Therefore, for the time being, users will have to revert enabling this security feature using one of the following ways. We are currently waiting for Microsoft to release a Windows update to unblock the latest versions of our driver to solve this. Update: Recently we have fixed this incompatibility, however, currently the latest Windows 11 is still blocking any version of our driver whenever this feature is enabled. While we are working on finding a solution and are also in contact with Microsoft regarding this issue, unfortunately there is no easy or immediate fix for it. Due to the complexities involved in security software unfortunately many kernel-level anti-cheats, including BE, are not compatible with this feature yet. Recently Microsoft has started to ask Windows 11 users to enable this security feature and if they do so it will cause the BE driver to be unable to load. When launching the game I get a “Failed to initialize BattlEye Service: Driver Load Error (1275).” error and Windows displays a popup reporting that BEDaisy.sys cannot be loaded on this device due to a security feature called “Hardware-enforced Stack Protection”. You may want to add the BE Launcher executable to the software’s exception list as well. Furthermore, if you are using a firewall or similar security software, please ensure that the BE Launcher executable (often named “_BE.exe”) is allowed to access the internet without restrictions. If this fails for you please make sure that your system and network has unrestricted internet access. In order for BE to operate properly, it needs to be able to download updates prior to launching the game. If it's Windows, there should be a more info button, and it should provide some form of error code, that could help us narrow down the cause. When launching the game I get an “Update failed …” error. Is it Windows, or Steam or Ylands that is providing this error (Windows will usually handle a crashed program, but Steam and Ylands are also capable of providing errors on startup!)? Is there any 'more information' button presented? Moreover, when you say it's giving an error. It should resolve any system / driver / game component issues that you might face. My hardware above, I went over it a few times and I'm convinced it meets the minimum reqs for playing.Ĭurrently also have a Steam thread running, dev response told me to ask here.ģrd party solution maybe? - Driver Booster, get a free pro key from one of the hundreds of YouTube giveaway's (just search for driver booster 5 key). > None of these steps solved or changed the problem in any way. Changed launch options per Steam, concerning Startup Settings and Direct X versions. exe as always launch as admin, then starting trough Steam (Guy on the Steam forums said it fixed it) Closing all antivirus and and antimalware applications before launching. Fully uninstalling and doing a fresh re-download of Ylands exe as admin and launching Steam as admin It's been nearly a day now, and I've tried just about anything. It seems likely that windows 10 may resolve any issues that windows 8 might face. I hate to sound like a sales-person as well! But you can get your hands on a free upgrade to windows 10, if you were interested in doing such a thing (expires at the end of this month). Your PC spec seems like there should be no issue, I would have to concur with the driver updates, failing that, any supporting software or technology that your card or operating system (windows 8) might require (windows updates or game ready technology). P.S.: Should I expect a Day-One patch tonight? Thanks again, I'll post on updates tomorrow. Thanks a lot.ġTB HDD, Running Win 8.0, plenty of free space remaining. Sounds like it might work, so I'll run the driver update overnight. In the tool, select Save All Information for an easily shared format. In Windows, select Start and enter dxdiag into the search box on the taskbar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Ĭould you please run a DXDiag and post the results? Note: I was also asked to include an "output_log_clean", but there is no such thing in my game files. I don't know what these are, and my task manager is showing no such thing.Īttached, the output_log file from Ylands_Data (as requested by a dev on Steam forums), WinRAR compressed crash folder. I was told to disable Rivaturner, EVGA PrecisionX or MSI Afterburner. I am hesitant to refresh my Graphics card drivers (Just did that a few days ago, download takes too long due to slow internet and I don't have time for it right now). I tried the usual steps, restarting PC, running as admin, verifying game files. Just bought and downloaded the game on release, launching it instantly gives me an error message explaining there has been a crash and a crash report has been saved.
